Eyelash Extensions

Save the animals!

I love animals so I will only use faux mink and other synthetic lashes. Faux lashes are hypoallergenic as opposed to various mink lashes on the market that may cause negative reactions due to it being an animal product. Synthetics can also hold a curl quite nicely and most times better than actual mink lashes.  There are so many high quality synthetics in the market that can be just as soft as real hair; so let's leave our furry little friends alone.

I use the Classic eyelash extension technique. That is one extension applied to one natural lash.

F.A.Q.

How long do they last?
It varies but it averages at about 5 to 6 weeks without a refill. For the best look, I recommend lashes get filled every 2 to 3 weeks depending on how fast your new lashes grow..

Why do prices vary for refills?
The longer you wait between fills, the more lash extensions are required to create a full lash look.

What type of glue do you use?
I work from home and am able to keep my fees fair, but when it comes to the quality of the products I use, I spare no expense!!!  I use a premium quality glue that is low in fumes, latex-free, formaldehyde-free and made with medical grade adhesive. Please understand that this does not mean it is hypo-allergenic. We do not all have the same type of body chemistry and therefore reactions can occur to those that have hyper-sensitivity in their skin.

Will it damage my lashes if I refill them too often?  |
This is a tricky one since it is a Yes and No answer. Extensions will not damage your lashes with proper care and if applied correctly. Also, grooming and cleaning them carefully will keep the shedding to a minimum. However, if you have thinner lashes to start with, you will probably need to take a break from time to time. Some people do not show signs of weaker lashes by getting extensions therefore do not find the need to take a break as often as others. It is also a matter of preference and comfort. I will always give you my honest opinion on the condition of your lashes. I will also provide care details to all clients at all initial sessions.

Can I wash my lashes?  |
Yes, you can but please make sure you use quality products. I will go over the care process at all initial sessions and can answer questions at any time by getting in touch with me.

Here is a cleaning tip:
The best tool for cleaning your lashes are your fingers.  With clean hands, use your index or ring finger to clean lashes with water and mild soap in an up down motion (pretend your finger is a mascara wand). Do not go side to side in a scrubbing motion. Also, you only need the suds from the soap; don't apply soap directly to your eyes.

Can I wear mascara if I have extensions?
Sure! Although most clients do not find it necessary.  I can recommend some brands if you are considering using mascara with your extensions.
